Phil 1:1 This letter is from Paul and Timothy, slaves of Christ Jesus. It is written to all of God's people in Philippi, who believe in Christ Jesus, and to the elders and deacons.
2 May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
3 Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.
4 I always pray for you, and I make my requests with a heart full of joy
5 because you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now.
6 And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again.
7 It is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a very special place in my heart. We have shared together the blessings of God, both when I was in prison and when I was out, defending the truth and telling others the Good News.
8 God knows how much I love you and long for you with the tender compassion of Christ Jesus.
9 I pray that your love for each other will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in your knowledge and understanding.
10 For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until Christ returns.
11 May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation--those good things that are produced in your life by Jesus Christ--for this will bring much glory and praise to God.

Let My People Know Philippians 1
I have a shelf of books with titles like; Jesus CEO, Improving Your Serve, Empires of the Mind, the Fifth Discipline, and Wess Roberts, Leadership Lessons from Star Trek the Next Generation, Make It So, and a personal favorite Leadership Secrets from Attila the Hun.
They all tell me how to lead, invest and encourage people. I do wish I were better, more consistent, a constant change agent and effective more often.
I have found that with regular application God does curb, direct, excite, gently transform and example my life with the Bible . . . rightly approached . . . rightly listened to.
The letter to the Philippians begins with just such potential for the heart of one who wants to favorably lead, influence and positively impact the lives of others.
The letter is addressed to all the believers, and especially to the leaders in Philippi (v1). He lets us know we cannot be the influence God wants without a serious dosage of grace and peace (v2). Paul does what we should do - he lets his people know what is in his heart.
The Leadership Secret from Paul, is let my people know.
I should Let My People Know;
I think about you and thank God for you (v3).
I pray asking for good things in your life, I have a joy in doing so (v4).
I should remind you the work you are doing is important (v5).
I have a confidence in you (v6).
I want you to know you are a treasure to me because of the things we have been through together (v7).
I really have great heart for who you are (v8).
I want you to know I want to see you keep growing in what you know and understand (v9).
I want you to know how important it is to discern and understand what matters and and what doesnt so you can serve honestly and without blame (v10).
I want you to know I hope your life is fruitful and produces such good things it even makes God look good (v11)!
If you are My People, I am letting you know how I feel about you especially after listening to Paul's heart. This is how I want to always feel about you.
I pray for the grace it will take and the peace I will need to continue be so the next day and the next. . . .
Now, who are your People? Who is your team? Who is your family? How will you Let Them Know today?
Glad to be in the Word with you, Pastor Art
